Laser Treatment for Verrucas from £150

Laser treatment for the removal of verrucas is now widely accepted as the most successful method. Recent medical studies suggest there is a 95% success rate after just one treatment and in most cases a maximum of 5 treatments will be needed.

Verrucas are benign lesions of the skin caused by a virus known as the Human Papillomavirus (HPV). This virus itself is very contagious, it can be contracted when the skin comes in contact with a contaminated surface.

People tend to be more susceptible to verrucas if they have a week immune system, tired and run down, stressed or on medication that weakens your immune system.

At Good Skin Days we have an effective solution for the removal verrucas. We have three different types of lasers to treat verrucas allowing us to deliver effective results. The lasers are as follows:
This laser emits very short pulses of laser light energy. The laser light works by selectively destroying the blood vessels that supply the verrucae. The heat destroys the verrucae itself.

At Good Skin Days you will be consulted and then treated by one of our Doctors. Further treatments will either be with the Doctor or one of the Nurses, this decision will be made on patient by patient basis.
