Your free of charge consultation will last for approximately 30 minutes and gives you the opportunity to come in and talk to one of our experts about the treatment process and what it involves.  It also allows us to look at the area you want treating and give a more accurate idea as to the likely number of treatments involved and potential cost.  You can ask any questions you may have in relation to the treatment, we'll also show you some before and after images of other treatments that have been carried out.  You can then go away and make an informed decision as to whether you wish to proceed with treatment.  Whether you decide to go ahead or not, the consultation is completely free of charge.

how many treatments do I need?

We recommended a course of 6 microdermabrasion treatments. We advise you to have them every 7-10 days. After that, microdermabrasion maintenance treatments are the way to maintain your glow. We’ll tell you how regular these should be for best results on your skin.

how will my skin look right after microdermabrasion?

It may be a little pink. This is a good sign and shows the microdermabrasion treatment is working. Any redness will fade very fast leaving your skin looking fresh and feeling super smooth. You’ll notice the improvements after your first treatment.

does microdermabrasion hurt?

No. We can adjust the jet to make sure your treatment is comfortable. All you’ll feel is a slight scratching sensation.

can I have microdermabrasion on my body?

Yes. Microdermabrasion stimulates the production of collagen so it’s an ideal treatment to help reduce the appearance of stretchmarks.

do I need to do anything to prepare?

It’s best to stop exfoliating your skin for 48 hours before treatment. We also advise you to wear sunscreen before and after treatments to protect your skin. You should avoid direct sun exposure or sunbed use afterward microdermabrasion. It’s also a good idea to keep your face free of make-up for 24 hours after treatment if possible. Your practitioner will plan a suitable prescription of cosmo-sceutical products that will enhance the effects of your treatment.
